I use DocPerl to look at the documentation of my work's and my own perl modules which are not on search.cpan.org. Also I find it useful to see the documentation associated with the module versions that I actually have installed (search.cpan.org will do once you have checked module versions and clicked on the appropriate links), and due to the usually much smaller number of local perl modules the hirachical listing can quicker to look up than a search.cpan.org search.
