The table settings that affect the border are "Border", "Frame", "Rules" and "Border color". Also if you have selected a "Class" for the table or a cell, the border-settings of the selected block-style affect the border. See http://www.docmenta.org/onlinedocs_v1-5/content/table_element.html
If this does not solve your problem, then please export the node that contains the table and all block-styles and attach the exported files to this ticket. Then I can try to reproduce the issue. To export a node, select the node and choose "Extra > Export Nodes" from the context menu.
