  • Can't compile/make After finding and installing all needed packages, I get following error on "make": /usr/bin/ld: dockboard.o: undefined reference to symbol 'g_module_symbol' //usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libgmodule-2.0.so.0: error adding symbols: DSO missing from command line collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status Sorry, but I'm a Unix noob. I tried to find a solution via Google but it seems I'm too dumb for it. I just found there's a "config.log" and although the "./configure" didn't put any error message into the terminal, this log file says: gcc: error: unrecognized command line option '-V' gcc: fatal error: no input files Using the Mint version of Ubuntu.
