Ability to ignore "Character language localisation"
Desktop search application
Brought to you by:
qforce
Is it possible to make DocFetcher to ignore "local characters" or "map" them differently?
For example:
in German:
ä <-> a
ö <-> o
ü <-> u
B <-> ß
or in Polish:
ą <-> a
ć <-> c
ł <-> ł
ó <-> o
ż, ź <-> z, z
What I intend to do is I want to find files containing "ä" when the search patter cointains "a".
Hi,
no, that's not possible with DocFetcher. The best you could do is use the wildcards * and ?, as explained in the program manual under "Query Syntax".
Best regards
