    What are the differences ?
Some time ago I use Qiqqa.
I suppose is different because DocFetcher don't appear in the wiki for reference manager.
The only aspect i see about qiqqa vs. doc is for the images pdf.
But my own scanned pdf are processed with an OCR so now i can index with Doc

Well. I am here to ask if you please.

What are the rest of main differences ?

    Best Regards

Well, I've never heard of or used Qiqqa before, so there isn't much I can tell you. According to the Qiqqa website, Qiqqa is mainly used for managing PDF files and references thereto, while DocFetcher aims at searching the contents of files in general, i.e. including, but not limited to PDF files.

I have adopted and studying the two programs.
DocFetcher, in my opinion, is less heavy and fast.
Qiqqa has the advantage of using OCR techniques.
Are software categories different. DocFetcher and Qiqqa are not together in the wiki as a comparison tool.

    Best Regards

Qiqqa is a cloud application. When you put your data in the cloud, you have no way of knowing what's happening to it.

With Qiqqa, syncing to the cloud is optional (and free up to 200MB, iirc). You can keep all docs locally.
