Bugs item #1027507, was opened at 2004-09-13 13:57 Message generated for change (Comment added) made by bobstayton You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=373747&aid=1027507&group_id=21935 Category: DocBook XSL Group: HTML Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Chris (csjohnson) Assigned to: Robert Stayton (bobstayton) Summary: The chunktoc.xsl stylesheet ignores dbhtml dir PI Initial Comment: The dbhtml filename and dbhtml dir processing instructions work great for sending the HTML files into different directories when I use chunk.xsl. However, when I use chunktoc.xsl with a custom toc.xml file, the dbhtml dir PI's are ignored - I get the custom chunking, but all the files end up in the same directory. Ideally, I would like to see the custom chunks go into the directories I have specified with the dbhtml dir PI's. I have tried adding the dbhtml dir PI's to the custom toc.xml file, but this didn't change anything. I'm using Xalan on WIN 2000, docbook-xsl-1.65.1 stylesheets. This problem also occurs in the docbook-xsl-1.61.3 stylesheets. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Robert Stayton (bobstayton) Date: 2004-12-14 14:55 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=193218 I think it is a problem in Xalan 2.4.1. Can you upgrade to 2.5.1, or try Saxon instead? I don't think it is a problem in the stylesheets because I cannot duplicate the problem with any processor I have (I don't have 2.4.1 installed anywhere). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Chris (csjohnson) Date: 2004-12-13 13:15 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1121109 Bob, I am using Xalan 2.4.1 on WIN 2000: C:\>java org.apache.xalan.xslt.EnvironmentCheck #---- BEGIN writeEnvironmentReport($Revision: 1.14 $): Useful stuff found: ---- version.DOM.draftlevel=2.0fd java.class.path=. version.JAXP=1.1 java.ext.dirs=C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_05\lib\ext version.xerces2=not-present version.xerces1=not-present version.xalan2_2=Xalan Java 2.4.1 version.xalan1=not-present version.ant=not-present java.version=1.4.2_05 version.DOM=2.0 version.crimson=present-unknown-version sun.boot.class.path=C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_05 \lib\rt.jar;C:\Program Fil es\Java\j2re1.4.2_05\lib\i18n.jar;C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_05\lib\sunrsas ign.jar;C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_05 \lib\jsse.jar;C:\Program Files\Java\j2 re1.4.2_05\lib\jce.jar;C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_05 \lib\charsets.jar;C:\Pr ogram Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_05\classes version.SAX=2.0 version.xalan2x=Xalan Java 2.4.1 #----- END writeEnvironmentReport: Useful properties found: - ---- # YAHOO! When I generate mytoc.xml using maketoc.xsl, it has the dbhtml processing instructions in it. When I then process with chunktoc.xsl, it writes the files as it should to the dbhtml directory and file names. What version of Xalan are you using? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Robert Stayton (bobstayton) Date: 2004-12-08 00:33 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=193218 I cannot duplicate this problem with either Xalan 2.5.1 or xsltproc using version 1.67.2 or 1.65.1 of the stylesheets.
