Many of these contain complex tables, with multi-colored cells. The colors actually help quite a bit with readability, so it is important to preserve them if possible. Is there anything that supports shading or colors in SDocBook/CALS tables? Are colors/shades supported in both the HTML and FO stylesheets? --- You can specify colours for individual table cells in HTML/HTML Help output using the entry-bgcolor processing instruction. Just put this in the appropriate table <entry>: <?dbhtml entry-bgcolor="[your chosen colour code]"?> A quick look at the fo/table.xsl stylesheet module shows 'dbfo' processing instructions for the following: table-width orientation (cell or row orientation) rotated-width but nothing about cell background color. But XSL-FO has properties for background color, so it could be done. --- Thanks to Bob and Lisa from the apps alias for the above info... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=373750&aid=685513&group_id=21935 |
