This issue is probably the same issue as described in Bug ID: 3072388.

Docbook permits books to have <info> sections which contain important copyright and legal information.

In the attached archive, the Docbook 5 file:

book/my-epub.xml

describes a book which contains an <info> section. The <title> is *INSIDE* the <info> section.

This file was validated using relames.

When processed with the file:

docbook-xsl-ns/epub/docbook.xsl

attached to Bug #3071521, the resulting ePub file will not validate correctly with epubcheck.

In the attached archive, the Docbook 5 file:

book2/my-epub.xml

describes a book which contains an <info> section. The <title> is *OUTSIDE* the <info> section.

This file was validated using relames.

When processed with the file:

docbook-xsl-ns/epub/docbook.xsl

attached to Bug #3071521, the resulting ePub file will not validate correctly with epubcheck.

In the attached archive, the Docbook 5 file:

book3/my-epub.xml

describes a book which *DOES NOT HAVE* an <info> section.

This file was validated using relames.

When processed with the file:

docbook-xsl-ns/epub/docbook.xsl

attached to Bug #3071521, the resulting ePub file validates correctly with epubcheck.

A copy of these notes appear in the archive.

If you need more information about this, please don't hesitate to ask.

Thanks.
