I just committed support based on the patches I received a while ago.  I 
can't guarantee that everything works (I had to make a lot of changes), 
but some basic tests pass.

There's still a few more things that need to get finished before a release 
can be done, but hopefully that can be in a few days.  If you want to 
check the current code out of cvs and make sure it's working, that would 
be very helpful.
