I don't like the idea of adding types introduced in
experimental RFCs, but I could add SPF to the next release.

This an official RFC and no more experimental:

    12. IANA Considerations

12.1. The SPF DNS Record Type

The IANA has assigned a new Resource Record Type and
    Qtype from the
DNS Parameters Registry for the SPF RR type with code 99.

I'm sorry, but have you read the RFC?

The header on the first page clearly states:

    Category: Experimental

and the Status of This Memo section, also on the first page,
    says:

This memo defines an Experimental Protocol for the Internet
community. It does not specify an Internet standard of any
    kind.

    Here is the iana link:
    http://www.iana.org/assignments/dns-parameters

It does not seems to be experimental.
Even if the SPF protocol is new the number has been
    officially assigned.

SPF record type should be defined as a TXTRecord as I don't
think that you'd want to put spf parsing in dnsjava.

SPF support is in CVS now, and will be in the next release.
