Again just for the record, a couple of people (don't
remember who) have requested (directly to me) writing
DND3E in the C++ language. Well that probably won't
happen. What will happen though is writing a C++
language binding for the DND3E API in C. This is a
much more amicable request (IMHO) so again, here it is
for the record.

C++ support (and other language bindings) may be added by
developing a CORBA orb for DND3E. I think the current
version of ORBit (the GNOME orb) requires Gtk+ 1.2 but
ORBit2 should be based on GLib 2..0. Not sure if using this
orb will curtail Windows support.
