#26 ipython notebook hang with dmtcp_checkpoint

When running the ipython notebook under dmtcp (dmtcp_checkpoint ipython notebook), running system commands in a cell (e.g., !ls) hangs the kernel. Running the same command under the ipython console works as expected. Running the notebook without dmtcp works, as expected. This is also python 2.7.5 (anaconda).
