Arrgh I wrote a huge post just before and it got nuked when I hit Post.. so annoying. I'll start again.
Anyways, great project!
There's a sore need for a software OFDM implementation.. everything out there is DSP/silicon which makes it hard and expensive.
Imagine running a Raspberry Pi with an OFDM codec,, just add an analog front-end for your choice of media and you've got a universal modem!
I'm working on a software-based OFDM transceiver for powerline comms round 200khz, but not having much luck finding help on the DLL/MAC/PHY layers (with OFDM anyways).
Well, I hope you get back to the project soon!
cheers
