On non-Windows systems you can either install directly from source or build packages first and install the packages.
[Installation via DEB packages] (Debian and Ubuntu)
[Installation via RPM packages] (Fedora, Oracle Linux, probably other EL clones)
Using an executable setup is the preferred method to install DK tools on Windows systems.
Installation from source on Windows takes a lot of time and requires skills in using development tools on Windows. So this is recommended for experienced programmers only.
