dkim-milter v0.2.2 is now available for download via Sourceforge.
This update fixes a problem with spec compliance, and adds a new
The compliance issue had to do with parsing the key granularity ("g="),
which can contain arbitrary use of the "*" character as a wildcard.
Prior versions took the empty string to mean nobody, the string "*" to
mean everybody, and anything else had to be an exact match.
The new feature is _FFR_SET_REPLY, which when rejecting a message will
cause dkim-filter to set the SMTP reply text to something more useful than
the generic default that sendmail will use.
The formal RELEASE_NOTES entry:
Evaluate the key granularity honouring "*" as a wildcard.
Add _FFR_SET_REPLY which requests a more useful SMTP reply code
when instructing the MTA to temp-fail or reject messages.
