#14 configure option --with-rrddb

No

The configure option --with-rrddb never gets used
inside the script. It appears like the script is
looking for --with-rrddir instead. Since it is not
set, it gets defaulted to "NONE/var".

Also, the configure script does not accept non-default
values as currently written.

Oops, this one fell through the cracks... Typo fixed, the
    rest will be done later.

Mike, could you please tell me which version of
autoconf/automake do you have on your box? I suspect this
bug is related to them - I haven't seen it before when
    autoconf 2.13/automake 1.4 were installed.

    Working on it.

Mike, please verify. Indeed, it seems that different version
of the autoconf was causing the NONE values.

    I'm using autoconf 2.13 and automake 1.4. I've since
upgraded to automake 1.6, though I'm not sure if the problem
    is still around.

could it have resulted from not specifying a --prefix- option?

Yes, this is the reason - when --prefix is not specified, it
is defaulted to NONE. Thanks for pointing this out, I'll try
    to fix it.

Beware that the CVS version doesn't work with autoconf 2.13
    anymore.
