New Filesharing Darknet

Networks like GNUtella are great because of their ever changing diversity, in search results and topology.
With GNUtella allow you find a lot of files, however it is now suffering from
a problem: Too many files, and a certain tension over the RIAA and their tatics.
However if you really wanted to find that one song you heard at a party last year. Wouldn't it make more
sense to search the music collection of everyone of your peers at your School, Work, Gym, including
everyone they Work with, etc. People who obviously share your similar interests and tastes.
I, Karlan Mitchell, am working on a DarkNet(http://distweb.sourceforge.net/) P2P application which
currently is Beta. However it includes a smart crash agent like Mozilla, so I need Beta Testers to crash it!
The program is written in C, not java, so the program aims to run very fast. Currently it runs on Linux, MacOSX,
Windows, and FreeBSD. The program has its own network protocol, which is being developed along-side the program. This
Protocol currently supports Searching, Chatting, Downloading (with PUSH), and SHA1 hashes.
In near future versions I can promise SHA1 Hash Trees (and multi-source downloads),
secure sockets, OOB search results, OOB Text/Chat, and HTML/CSS webpages via DGAF protocol by embedding mozilla components. ... read more
