Automatic User Directory Listing / News: Recent posts

Webmaster can now prevent a user from being included in the listing.

This version allows fields like the photo, contact details and the on-line status to be removed by the webmaster. The user may substitute a nickname in place of the "real name" supplied by the operating system.

The initial release of the directory tool has been released. Comments, both good and bad, about this project are requested from anyone who gives it a try.

Added option to disable HTML tags.
Added option to change location/name of data files

Added function to remove leading www to derive mail address

A request for testers to test the initial version has been posted.

The initial version of display_users.pl has been uploaded. Further action will depend on arranging for testing and evaluations.
