I am puzzled with the tone curve settings.

Using i1display pro with Dell 2209WA
    and following settings :

    white point - native
    white level - 100cdm
    black level - native

when i calibrate and profile and then report on calibrated display i get the following results for
    the tone curve selections shown.

    L* - 3.07
    srgb - 2.77
    2.2 - 2.7
    2.0 - 2,5
    1.8 - 2.25

Seems the only way to get 2.2 is select 1.8.

    Thanks

Please note that the reported values are for the 50% level. Also some settings like ambient light level adjustment will influence the effective gamma. If you want to achieve a certain gamma value, do not use ambient adjustment and set gamma type to "relative" (absolute will offset the curve by the black point, thus the reported gamma will usually be higher than the set value).

Thanks for clarifying, will try without ambient adjustment next calibration.
      Thanks for the help.
