new aspect for diskotech ? rippin' !
discotechd (!) watches a list of drives and when media
is mounted it does the right thing;
a) if blank, start diskotech
b) if it contains data,
1. run "file" on it, look for rip-worthy content types
2. prompt user to see if they really want to rip that
content.
3. prompt user for transcoding options
4. prompt user for destinations (with defaults) for
different content types.
5.checks for available space
6. initiates copy/transcode
7. gives start/progress/end feedback
8. logs the entire process
with the doorman in place, even inexperienced users
could feed drives with media all day, with minimal fuss.
