Hi Guys,

I have managed to get the :ext: method of accessing the cvs working.  This 
will give better security on the repository.

in WinCVS you will need to

change the cvsroot to use...@td...:/home/tank_cvs
select SSH Server as the Authentication
alternate RSH name must be set to ssh

when performing operations on the repository a command box will be started, 
and you will need to restore the window to enter your password. You can 
also transfer your public key to my server if you wish, which from memory 
remove the need for entering a password.

I will be leaving the pserver side working until I hear from each of you 
that you have successfully connected to the repository with the ext method.
