Please consider the following synonym additions:
Creutzfeldt Jakob disease (DOID:11949)
Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (DOID:11949)
[or correct the two with Jakob spelt Jacob]

coronary heart disease (DOID:3393) [this was removed in a moderately recent change]

I note that quite a few of the synonyms from SNOMED CT end with "(disorder)". Is adding the variant without "(disorder)" as a synonym within the scope of the ontology? [in many cases the synonym that would result from doing so is already present] In a few cases I think removing the qualifier may leave you with an anatomical synonym rather than a disease synonym but in many cases the synonym without the qualifier seems reasonable e.g. DOID:4249

    Hello Daniel,
Thank you for your suggestions to update DO.
I have updated DOID:11949, updating the name to Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease, I have added synonyms as well.
I have added in the synonym for DOID:3393.
It is within the scope of DO to add synonyms that are name variants for a disease.
We are working to remove the 'disorder' part of the synonyms, as we are working to remove term redundancy among the synonyms.
Please send us any additional updates you identify.

    Regards,
    Lynn Schriml
