#3 Macbook Pro 2,8GHz Drive not working right

I just installed version 0.4 and restarted my system. Toggling
'Activate' and moving the slider makes no difference when a CD is in the
drive. The Checkbox "Activate" gets always be unchecked and
it says "No Media"

The discrotatertest shows:
MATSHITA DVD-R UJ-868 Media
Current Medium: /dev/rdisk1
Current Drive Speed: 1058 kB/s
Min. Drive Speed: 1058 kB/s
Max. Drive Speed: 4234 kB/s

On a MacBook Pro 2.8 Ghz.

I think this problem is related with Snow Leopard, because I encountered the same problem when I upgraded from Leopard to Snow Leopard. I uninstalled and installed the program but nothing changed. I think it's related with some libraries or library versions that are updated in Snow Leopard.
