#1 How to apply these patches

Hi,

am new to this linux environ.....

I have installed FC5 i386 and wine 0.9.17 downloaded
from repoview

In order to play CS1.6 on my system using the above
wine version, wat are the required?

whenever i start the game using wine it is restarting
the X-server i think..... i.e my screen goes blank and
later it takes me to the login screen again...

By installing the patches will it help my problem, if
so how do we install these packages....

Playing CS is the only reason for which i need to boot
into windows ... so if u could help me out it would
reduce the burden of frequent restarts and switching the OS

Hoping that u will respon to my problem....
