When I try to run DoW it just pops up with "No DVD/CD-Rom found", I've tried to add symlinks to my CD-Rom, however, without success.
Today I tried to run it with Cedega, and it found my CD-Rom, but Cedega doesn't support DoW. I tried using some of Cedega's reg files, however, that doesn't work either.
At any rate, have anyone had DoW running without using a NoCD patch? Its not an option as there is none for 1.30 version and I really don't want to rely on one (I play online).
(I'm running the lastest directxwine)
Regards,
Thomas

you need to replace exe file with no-cd patched
you can download one from gamecopyworld
Sory my reply has taken so long, I'v only just found out that replying to the email sourceforge sends doesn't work....
anyhow..
Many newer copy protection methods don't work with
wine, but it's being worked on.
Warhammer 40k uses safedisk, the patch in this post
http://www.winehq.org/?issue=277#Copy%20Protection%20Status%20#1
The no-cd patch may also work

Thanks for the reply, Guess I'll have to take a look at the safedisk patch. Was hoping for something a little more easy, oh well :)
