Hey, i'm building my first DSHOW program and i'm running into some issues. I built it last monday and it ran fine for 4 days, then all of a sudden stopped. All it is a Blackmagic video and audio capture source -> MPEG MUX -> File Writer. The error is when i'm connecting the AVI decompressor to the mpeg2 encoder. I'm assuming it's because of video format, but it works fine in GraphEditPlus and it worked fine for 4 days with no code change. Any ideas? I can post the graph code if it helps, please advise. Thanks.

PS. This is all in VB.NET, i can semi understand C# and C++, but VB is my native.

I'm always suspicious when people claim "nothing has changed." Clearly something has.

    My best guesses are:
    1) You used to compile for x86, now you are compiling for x64 (or Any).
    2) You have changed what codecs are installed. Again, x86/x64 is a place to look.

Can you post your graph, because frankly, I don't see what an AVI Decompressor filter have to do with an MPEG video...
