We are developing a module to integrate dimdim video web conference to Claroline LMS (http://www.claroline.net) like the moodle module.
The development of the module is in progress.
Here is the link to the nightly build of the module :

Thank you for the interest in Dimdim and taking the initiative with this integration effort.
Can you please drop me an email - uday(at)dimdim.com so I help you with any queries you may have.
Hello, I send a mail to Rohit.
Here is the news on the Dimdim module for Claroline.
We finished the module and we'll release it next week on http://www.claroline.net.
"Dimdim integration in Claroline" is a new course tool (using the module system of Claroline).
1. The administrator download the zip and easily install it in Claroline from the administration ( tuto how to install module in claroline : http://www.claroline.net/dlarea/docs/videos/en/install_module.htm )
2. The web-conference tool is displayed in the course homepage.
3. The Course manager can schedule/edit a conference.
6. Course manager can join conference as administrator or attendee.
7. Student can join a conference.
So, the web-conference module creates a table in the claroline database to store the webconference and the parameters of this conference (title, description, waiting area, max users, duration, type, network, start date and visibility).
To join a webconference, we generate an url for the course manager :
The conference link is always displayed to course manager, so he can prepare his conference before the start date.
And for the student :
The conference link is displayed to the student only between the start date and the start date + duration in hour + 1 hour (if the meeting is not yet finished).
The development of the module is done in 1 day od development.
Did you see other features/improvements to add to a future version of this module ?
You can talk with the Claroline on irc ( server : irc.freenode.net / channel : #claroline ). The main developers of the team are in Belgium (GMT+2). Do you use also an irc channel for Dimdim developers discussion ?
