clearing default text when adding emoticons

    Hi Kevin,

    Hope you read this thread. =)

    In the meeting, when you add the emoticons for the first time, the default text "Type text and press Enter" is not cleared.

    It happens in both open source and the hosted meetings at the dimdim.com.

    I'm not an expert but I solved it on my way. =P

    Below is what I did. Hope you could get to dimdim developers to look into it.

    Please correct if something wrong or there's a better way to do it.

    package - "com.dimdim.conference.ui.common.client.user"

    class name - "EmoticonsPopup.java"

    method name - "sendEmotion"

    if(null != chatTextArea.getText()){

            // check whether it is default text or not, then clear the default text
            if(chatTextArea.getText()==UIStrings.getChatPanelInstruction())
                chatTextArea.setText("");
            //-----------------------

            temp = chatTextArea.getText()+emoticon;
    }
