Digital Imaging Resizer Toy Now Available!

The "Seam Carving for Content Aware Image Resizing" video that's been very popular is very cool, but would be even cooler if you could play with it yourself. Now you can! The Digital Image Resizing Toy provides an implementation of the algorithms from the video, so you too can seam carve. The toy uses the filters from DIIT to find the seams. Unlike other implementations available, it stands alone as an application and can preserve/erase particular portions of the image.

Digital Invisible Ink Toolkit 1.4 Released!

DIIT provides four customizable steganography algorithms, plus 3 different steganalysis methods - so you can play hide and seek in images to your heart's content! This new release adds another filter for the two filterable hiding algorithms, two new algorithms (total of 6), plus a couple of major interface improvements.

Digital Invisible Ink Toolkit 1.2 Released!

This new version has a correct implementation of Sample Pairs, along with traditional (black and white) graph analysis, correct watermarking benchmarking. Now not only can this tool hide a message in an image effectively, it can guess very accurately whether an image has something hidden in it.

Digital Invisible Ink Toolkit Stable 1.0 Released!

Finally the toolkit has moved out of beta and into a production edition! This toolkit now implements all the features expected from a steganography program. It can hide, retrieve, simulate hiding and also benchmark hidden content in images. Have fun playing hide and seek with it!

Digital Invisible Ink Toolkit Beta 2 Released!

The Digital Invisible Ink Toolkit provides a small java program that can embed messages (files) inside 24-bit colour images in such a way that the resulting image does not appear affected. The algorithms implemented by the tool are part of a group of techniques called steganography, which is just a fancy word for information hiding. The idea of this toolkit is to provide a framework where users can add their own algorithms for steganography, or just use the current implementations to effectively hide their messages. This latest release is the second public release of the toolkit. It fixes several bugs in the UI, as well as checking for image libraries on load. It also includes a file that will run benchmarks across image files.

Digital Invisible Ink Toolkit - Beta 1 Released!

The Digital Invisible Ink Toolkit is a small java program that can embed messages (files) inside 24-bit colour images in such a way that the resulting image does not appear affected. The algorithms implemented by the tool are part of a group of techniques called steganography, which is just a fancy word for information hiding. The idea of this toolkit is to provide a framework where users can add their own algorithms for steganography, or just use the current implementations to effectively hide their messages. This initial release provides a gui, 4 different algorithms, 2 different filters (used by the algorithms for hiding) and the ability to simulate hiding on a black image (so you can see where it puts it). The source contains a small amount of benchmarking code which is currently being worked on and will appear in future releases. Java 1.4 with the Advanced Imaging Toolkit or Java 1.5 is required for this tool to run.
