DBS 0.8.1.2 beta r2

The first public release of DBS is avaliable!

Although I have personally tested every feature of this software, and I have been working on it off and on for over a year, all my testing has still only been done on a couple of different servers. I encourage you to download and install DBS into your server (it shouldnt be too hard, but you should have an understanding of how to create a MySQL database). If you have any problems, please let me know and I will do anything I can to help you solve them. If the problems you are having require something in DBS to be changed, I will make those changes. That is afterall the purpose of beta testing software.... read more

Subversion Source Avaliable!

I have added the source for DBS to the subversion repository. The folder structure is as follows (all is contained within https://svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/digitization\):

trunk/dbs/ - The PHP Content Management System this project page is all about.
trunk/dbs_compiler/ - a Visual Basic command line application i wrote to "compile" all the source code into a zip file (using WinRAR) for distribution to the public. To use on your own system you will need to check out the source and edit some string values telling it where to get the code and such. In the future I will release a version of this that gets its settings from an .ini file.... read more

Welcome!

Welcome to my project and thank you for your interest.

I have been working on DBS on and off for over two years now. Now that it is in a useable form, I am here at sourceforge to share it with the community. For the moment, this page isn't too functional. In the very near future, updates on development, requests for assistance on piticular features, and the CVS repository will be on this site.

Until then, I ask you to stand by and check back soon. I have a strong will to turn DBS into a wonderfull tool for people of all kinds. With the communities help and support, I know that is possiable.... read more
