goto your %programfiles% folder,
then go to your DigitalSimulatorV5.57 folder
open ParamStore.dat
and search for

Language
de

change the de to en, and you're all set

in an ideal world, the program would keep per user
settings (%userprofile%),
and upon first use prompt the user in all available
languages
to select the default language
(autodetecting the current locale to make a suggestion)
