Hi everyone ! I've just received, and now testing, a Huion 1060Pro+ digitizer in Fedora 23 x64 kernel-4.4.6-300. So far, mostly everything (i think) works out of the box : - Pen working, and it's lighter than I expected. Feel very comfortable to use (so much that I actually prefer it to my intuos 3 pen, but it could be related to my small hand and big fingers ^^) - Tablet is working (didn't test the pressure sensitivity in any graphic app yet). The 12 express-keys seemed to work and are registered like this : 1-2 : close window or app 3-4 : save as (don't seem to work everywhere) 5-6 : minus -- (I guess it's zoom out in a graphic app) 7-8 : plus ++ 9-10 : seems to be "search" key 11-12 : copy-paste The 16 cell hotkeys doesn't react to anything, but I didn't exactly test them... And now for my question ^^ ! Since the tablet is working as it is, I'm not sure whether I should install or not the digimend driver (meaning I'm afraid to break everything). As I understand it, it provides more options and some extra features, like a configuration tool ? That could be really useful to me. For example, the tablet is in "absolute" mode and I don't have an option to change it to "relative" mode. With the intuos 3, I can switch from one to the other, and it's pretty useful... So what do you think ? Should I install it ? What should I expect from this driver ? Thank you for your help ! I'm looking for your advices ! (And by the way : thanks for all the persons involved in this project. Thank you !) *- -* *mediaklan* <med...@gm...> |
