That's strange. Could you please do the following?
1. Start "sudo usbhid-dump -es -m 5543:0781 | tee usbhid_coords.txt".
2. Make a horizontal stroke with the pen, starting outside the left border
of the drawing area, going through and out the right border. Like this:
`:
.-~---------------------------.
| * * * * |
| .-----------------------. |
| | | |
| | | |
| --------------------------> |
| | | |
| | | |
| | | |
| `-----------------------' |
| |
`-----------------------------'
3. Make a vertical stroke, starting outside the top border, going through
and out the bottom border. Like this:
`:
.-~---------------------------.
| * * * * | |
| .---------- | ----------. |
| | | | |
| | | | |
| | | | |
| | | | |
| | | | |
| | | | |
| `---------- | ----------' |
| \|/ |
`-----------------------------'
4. Stop the command by pressing Ctrl-C.
5. Send me the resulting "usbhid_coords.txt" file.
And then also the following:
1. Make sure you have "xinput" package installing by running
"sudo apt-get install -y xinput"
2. Find out pen input device ID: execute "xinput list" and remember the
number after "id=" on the line with your tablet name under "Virtual core
pointer" group. I.e. NOT under "Virtual core keyboard" group.
3. Start "stdbuf -oL xinput test ID | tee xinput_coords.txt" (replace ID
with the device ID you discovered in the previous step).
4. Make a horizontal stroke with the pen, starting outside the left border
of the drawing area, going through and out the right border. Like this:
`:
.-~---------------------------.
| * * * * |
| .-----------------------. |
| | | |
| | | |
| --------------------------> |
| | | |
| | | |
| | | |
| `-----------------------' |
| |
`-----------------------------'
5. Make a vertical stroke, starting outside the top border, going through
and out the bottom border. Like this:
`:
.-~---------------------------.
| * * * * | |
| .---------- | ----------. |
| | | | |
| | | | |
| | | | |
| | | | |
| | | | |
| | | | |
| `---------- | ----------' |
| \|/ |
`-----------------------------'
6. Stop the command by pressing Ctrl-C.
7. Send me the resulting "xinput_coords.txt" file.
Thank you!
Sincerely,
Nick
