Hi Cristiano, I'm CC'ing my answer to the DIGImend-users maillist to have others informed. Please answer using "Reply to all" instead of just "Reply" to keep them posted. This is the best non-Wacom tablet I've seen with regards to the pen and overall build quality. However, the dial pads are not the best possible, as they're not very sensitive. Also, the pen tilt sensing precision is slightly lower than Wacom tablets have. Still, this tablet is one of the few non-Wacom tablets supporting tilt. For now, the horizontal scrolling with dial pads is not supported under Linux. The eraser button is only supported with the Wacom driver and tilt sensing is only supported with the evdev driver currently. However, there is a patch adding preliminary tilt sensing support for this tablet to the Wacom driver. Also, to get this tablet supported at all under Linux, you will need to either patch your kernel with the DIGImend patches or use the upcoming 3.5 kernel release. Sincerely, Nick |
