Did you mean the model name to be "TS-6850"? Can you also send the "sudo lsusb -v" output with your tablet plugged-in? Thank you. Nick |

Hi Benjamin, Ah, we're out of luck, after all. The tablet below doesn't have *any* buttons, and still shows 8 in 0x7a string descriptor. These cheap tablets are really a nightmare. True, but the 7b string reports "HK On". So it's a consistent behavior after all. If the VID:PID is not a Huion one, then we can do something in the kernel while detecting the pad capability. > > These cheap tablets are really a nightmare. True, but this false positive does not infringe the current rule. All that might happen is that we will export an extra PAD interface that the user can ignore. The other way would have been worrisome. Most likely it is the Huion VID:PID, but I hope Maki sends a lsusb output so we can be certain. >> >> These cheap tablets are really a nightmare. > > True, but this false positive does not infringe the current rule. It breaks our assumption that we can rely on the number of buttons in 0x7a, but, yeah, we can live with that. Nick |

Thank you. Nick |
