Thanks for the effort, your program is a great complement to meld. If it ever worked...
First of all, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but gdiff-ext library seems to go to /usr/lib instead of Nautilus extensions directory. After I've fixed the directory, I hit another problem: Nautilus goes crashing even when just clicking on a directory (no matter left- or right-clicking). What can this be concerned with and how can I deal with that?

Could you please describe how do you configure and make gdiff-ext?
Serg.
I've tested the same behavior on Ubuntu 7.10 and Nautilus 2.20.0.
Any help?
Thanks,
Michele
Michele,
What version of gdiff-ext are you using? How it was installed?
Serg.
I've resolved fixing missing theme icon. After installation of diff-ext_0.2.3-1_i386.deb:
1. launch gconf-editor
2. see if key /apps/diff-ext/icons has value diff-ext; if it does not, set it to diff-ext
Thanks to Serg. for the help.
Bye
This is me the original post author. Creating the key helped. Thanks!
(would love to see the key auto-creation in the next version ;)
Doh. Sorry, this was my fault from the start. I just didn't bother to install the GConf schema.
