You're right. I used diff_ext-1.9.1-i386-UNICODE.exe instead of diff-ext-1.9.1-AMD64-UNICODE.exe. The later works perfectly.
I was fooled by the "AMD" part, since I have an Intel processor. I didn't thought that it's AMD64 architecture anyway.
Maybe you could add info on the website that it's not AMD-specific version, or drop the AMD part altogether to avoid confusion. The "IA64" is different enough from "64" imho.
