I have on the TX and it works reasonably well. However, after many attempts and tweaks, I cannot get diddlesnap to work at all.
I've installed the libraries and support files, installed the latest vers. 2.90.b.4, tried with and without the .HACK file, and scoured the doc.s for a solution with no luck. I have found SNAP v. 0.2.5 build 192 by Maillot Christophe works (at least in the cases I've tried) well. But of course I was trying to implement a simpler/smaller footprint solution. SNap is available at palmattitude.org according to the about screen, I'm sure avail. elsewhere as well.
If you have any suggestions, or debugging ideas to get diddlesnap to work, please pass them on.

I can't live without Diddlebug. It's my brain. Unfortunately, the sound just died on my Treo 600, so I can't hear my Diddlebug alarms anymore. I am considering buying a Palm Tx, but I want to be sure that Diddlebug will work on it. There don't seem to be any recent comments on the subject here. Can anyone tell me if Diddlebug is working on their TX? I don't care about Diddlesnap (it has never worked for me on any device), but Diddlebug is all-important.
Thanks

TX has by default a "Notes" application, that's very similar to Diddlebug (writing on screen, alarms, many pages).
I used to use diddlebug on PalmV, have the tX now since 1 week and am happy with that.
Check also on Palm's homepage.

Well, I went ahead and got the Tx and put Diddlebug on it. At first it looked like a total flop. Every time an alarm went off, it crashed the Tx without making a sound. But I decided to try deleting Diddlebug from the PDA and re-downloading it fresh from the website, rather than using the version that I had copied over from the old PDA. It is working well now. Its only glitch is that it doesn't make the unique alarm sounds that I've asked it to make for the various items, but I can live without that.
I don't care for any of the other note programs, including the default "Notes" application, because they all lack one or more really important qualities. I use Diddlebug for recurring alarms, which many "notes" applications can't handle. But I also use it for occasional alarms, because Diddlebug allows you to keep a library of alarms even if none of them are currently being used. For example, I have a ton of alarms regarding cooking, such as "start the veggies," or "turn the crockpot down." With Diddlebug I don't have to write new notes every time I want to use those alarms. I just activate them from the library that I've created. Also, the options for setting alarms AND SNOOZING them are unsurpassed by any program I've seen. So needless to say, I'm very happy that Diddlebug is working on my Tx.

Has anyone used diddlebug on a TX? Mine has been such a touchy unit I wanted to ask before trying it out.
Thanks
