If I try to remove a disk from the catalog using:
    dic remove backup_11_23_01_1

The disk still shows up if I do a
    dic -c "backups" list

No matter what I try I can't see to get the disk deleted from the catalog.
    Please Help

      Hi,
please attach the list of the directory
~/.dic/disks. Here are stored the disk-files stored. If something went wrong, you can always simply delete the <diskaname>.disk[.gz],
      <diskname>.index[.gz], and
      <diskname>.info files,
      and the disk is gone.
But before you do this, please contact me, I wish to know more about this problem.
      Thanks,
          Akos

      Hi,

I'm having exactly the same problem als described by mchester. (SuSE Linux 8.0 / Python 2.2).
I'm aware of the possibility to delete stuff by hand, but that shouldn't be necessary.
Was the matter settled in the meantime?

      Please let me know.

      Thanks
      Werner
