#13 invalid e-mail address prevent subsequent transfers

if any of the dibs configurations are given an invalid
address and that address is used to report an error,
the process ceases to work (i.e. consumes 100 percent
CPU, no longer handles files).

The context in which I was using it I had an active
process feeding a passive process. The passive machine
encountered in error, tried to send a mail message and
that's when the active process went to 100 percent CPU
and files apparently stopped being transferred.
