#3 problem with diald

Dear Sir,
I really appreciate the diald project you have made. I how ever
have one problem with working of diald.
Initially when ever after startinf diald daemon I tried to ping
address on internet it gave me error as Network not reachable.
Then I modified the diald config file and added network 0.0.0.0
and netmask 0.0.0.0 to device ppp0 and the diald started working.
But the problem now is that even if i send internal mails , or ping
ip on my local area network it dials to internet.

Please tell me what routing entries to add , or what is the solution.

that is because when you add route to 0.0.0.0 it is any network due to
which even if you ping local net it will dial since you have added route
to any network ( 0.0.0.0 ) as ppp0 . so in this case you will need to add a
manual static route to the local subnet pointing to you eth0 or whatever
