That depends on which protocol you want to use. Let's take ISDN first, with the board's rotary switch set to "1".... Your dialogic.cfg file should look like this: .... SCBusClockMaster=3D1 SCBusClockMasterSource=3DINDEPENDENT .... [Genload - PCI ID 1] ISDNProtocol=3Dnt1 ParameterFile=3Dnt1.prm ISDNProtocol2=3D4ess ParameterFile2=3D4ess.prm This should force the first span (the bottom plug) to be the clock source and to run the "network side" protocol. This should drive the second span, configured as "regular" 4ess. Subject: [Dial-utils-devel] T1 Loopback Hi, I'm looking for a way to set up a simple T1 loopback for test purposes=20 between port 1 and 2 of my Dialogic Dual T1 board (D480JCT2T1). I've done a "null modem cable" cutting a regular cat5 cable and putting=20 together pins 1 to 4 and 2 to 5 in both directions. Now, the first thing I'm trying to achieve is to get the green light on=20 both ports when connected together before doing any kind of testing. I've simply tried running Dialogic test apps but it does not work. How=20 should I set up the two ports to do this ? In particular, how can I=20 simulate the network T1 using one of the two ports (framing, encoding,=20 clock ...)
