Java SDK = 1.3.1
QuickUML = 1.3.4
Configuration:

Issue:
Using QuickUML (implementation of Java Diagram
Component) I created a single Class diagram. I used
the Tool>Build menu to create the java source file. I
After building, I saved the diagram, and quit out of
QuickUML. I restarted the QuickUML application, then
attempted to edit the text within the single Class
diagram. Double clicking within the Class diagram
causes all the text inside the Class diagram to
disappear! Tried to refresh just in case text had
simply failed to, but no results. Only way I could
retreive the text was to close the current diagram,
and reopen it. Tried duplicating the issue with
muliple Classes, and it re-occurred. This apparently
happens when opening a saved diagram. The classes
previously saved will lose their text if any attempt
is made to edit them. You can ADD additional Classes
to a previously saved diagram, and those newly added
Classes WILL allow you to re-edit the text prior to
saving. If the newly added Classes are saved with the
old diagram, and the diagram is reopened, all Classes
will lose their text if any attempt is made to edit or
double-click on the text.
Comments:
This really is a wonderful Component/utility, I will
find it useful when this problem is resolved. I can't
believe how fast it is!
Congrats on making a useful tool, and good luck on
your Masters. I hope you were left unscathed by that
disaster on 9/11.
Cheers,
