Hi Arjan and others,
Hmm - this might be a little off-topic, but I will give it
I am writing an editor and would like diacanvas to
display the page boundaries for me. As I can see it,
there would be two "visual" options:
* Like sodipodi, where a blank "page" is drawn on top
of a grey background;
* Like Dia, where the page limits are drawn on the white
This application also requires that the grid is set to
specific dimensions that do not change when the canvas is
zoomed (i.e. grid spacing 2cm x 2cm).
Any ideas? I was thinking of adding the lines or the page
(rectangle) to the root group of the canvas (just like I would
do using GnomeCanvas) but I am not sure if this would "break"
the DiaCanvas paradigm....
