The project page seems carrying an old python sample code.
It could be rewritten as (little cruftier) :
import diacanvas as dia
canvas =3D dia.Canvas()
box =3D dia.CanvasBox ()
box.set (parent=3Dcanvas.root, width=3D50, height=3D50,
color=3Ddia.color (200, 100, 100, 128))
box.move (200, 200)
view =3D dia.CanvasView (canvas=3Dcanvas)
window =3D gtk.Window()
...wouldn't it ? And thus, the na=EFve wanderer wouldn't be confused and
have to dig through half the python/gtk2 faq, or even worse, the code
snipets that sit deep in his own system (/usr/share/doc...) It would
work out of the box !
Also the doc about python bindings (if not the whole thing) is a little
bit lagging behind...
Hopefully, I'll find my way through the nice demo.py sample (shouldn't
it be named demo.sh ? (ok I stop to harrass you right now :-))
DiaCanvas rocks !
