Hi
I'm trying to compile giFT-Zombie 1.2.0 under
Mandrake Linux 8.0
I had previously successfully compliled Halo-kazaar
without any problem.
My complilation fails at this point
cc -g -o giFTget get.o libgiFT.a
make[1]: Leaving directory
`/home/derek/giFT-Zombie/src/giFT-0.9.5'
make giFT-Zombie

c++ -c -g -Iflvw/1.0/ Thread.cpp -o Thread.o

Thread.cpp:69: warning: taking address of temporary
Thread.cpp: In function `void *threadExec (void *)':

c++ -c -g -Iflvw/1.0/ TCPSocket.cpp -o TCPSocket.o
c++ -c -g -Iflvw/1.0/ uiNetwork.cpp -o uiNetwork.o
c++ -c -g -Iflvw/1.0/ gui.cxx
gui.cxx: In function `void
__static_initialization_and_destruction_0
(int, int)':
gui.cxx:300: cannot convert `const char **' to
`char *const *' for

*)'
make[1]: *** [gui.o] Error 1

`/home/derek/giFT-Zombie/src'
make: *** [all] Error 2
Unfortunately if is 15 years since I did any C
programming, and I'm only just easing myself back
in, but this looks like it may be a bug you would
be interested in.
On another subject.
I have been using Halo-Kazaar with some success
over the last few days. It works well, but I find
that many of the files I download are corrupted and
will jump about when I play them with Xmms. I know
there are many corrupted files out on the Morpheus
network, but it seems to be a very high percentage.
Could this be due to Halo-Kazaar, or a giFT problem?
Thanks
Derek
