giFT broken

As many of you probably already know the giFT daemon which giFT-Zombie is built upon is broken. The people at FastTrack have introduced incompatablities in the protocol, which disallows opensource clients to participate in the FastTrack network. I will post a new version of giFT-Zombie with a few bug fixes when a fix has been worked out in giFT. Until giFT is back development of giFT-Zombie is parellized. halo-kazaa v0.1.0 is out

Totally reworked the networking code. We no longer use CommonC++, because of stability issues along with people having problems building it on their systems. Stability has improved a great deal. Downloading is much more reliable. Better search results with make-shift column support. Added a max search results field.

halo-kazaa-0.0.3 released

We now use the giFT-0.9.5 library and have made many improvements to the user interface. We have fixed some bugs, Searching is close to stable and downloading isn't very reliable yet. We plan on implementing a different download mechanism in the near future that will stablize things and allow parallel downloads for the same file.

release Very close

halo-kazaa is now talking to the giFT daemon through portable c++ libraries. What does that mean? well, we should have a working version for linux and windows at about the same time. expect a binary in around 2 days.
