#3 Layout change suggestion

The current screen looks (interpretive) like this:

When using "Smart Points" (my preferred), the point selection box is rarely more than a few lines. What do you think about this layout:

This would make more screen real estate available for the google maps.

The proposed layout doesn't show up well on the web page, since the blanks were compressed out (though the email I got showed it correctly). In any case, I'm attaching a simple jpg file that captures what I'm trying to describe.
