#15 A/O/U-Umlaut translation

Currently the streetnames/regions/cities containing a ä, ö, ü (umlaut) are not saved correctly into the meta-data of the pictures.

Example: "Zürich" is transformed into "Z?rich".

I am aware that this is a tiny tiny minor problem but maybe it's easy to solve...

I've studied this a bit and using non-ASCII characters in IPTC metadata fields (like City, Streetname, etc.) is problematic since documentation is convoluted and viewers are not consistent.

How are you viewing the metadata to see this problem?
