#30 version should say something special on sourceforge pulls

I just pulled and built a newer dfu-util from sourceforge

The version should say something special besides 0.9.

Perhaps the commit hash? Or the date of the commit?

I also think it would be useful if the version output could be different for the what's in HEAD as opposed to the latest released version.

We could add something like "-dev" that we take away on release. I haven't yet seen a automagic commit hash kludge that I like.
